We made red, white, and blue pancakes for a festive breakfast on July 4th. We used strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and white chocolate chips.
In the afternoon we went over to our neighbor's to hang out, ride bikes, and eat ice cream.
One of my neighbors found this great idea to protect little hands from the sparks of sparklers. You make a hole in the end of a plastic cup and put the sparkler through the hole. The kids can hold the end of the sparkler inside the cup and not risk getting burned.
Celebrating with her 1st sparkler!
