Here are some recent pictures of our girl; these are from mid-August 2013.

I know, I know - a million pics of her eating. But it's practically the only time she's still enough for pictures these, they're so dang cute! She particularly enjoyed her lunch this day.

Toe sucking is the new thumb sucking.

Kip doesn't let a few baby toys get in the way of a comfy nap spot.

On our way to celebrate a friend's 1st birthday party. She's the only girl out of that little group of friends, so we had to really 'girl' it up with butt ruffles, a hair bow, and pink shoes.

Sunday Stitches: and...a dog

I recently finished another cross stitch project. Somehow I managed to get this one way off vertical center on the fabric. Luckily I think there is still enough excess fabric at the top to have it framed, if I ever get around to framing it.

This is a Stitchworks design, stitched over two on Ivory Lugana using DMC and Gentle Arts threads.

Here are some recent pictures of our girl; most of these are from July and early August 2013.

Cool baby wearing her sunshades! This is major progress - usually she rips them off of her face in 10 seconds.

First time having grits for breakfast - like a true Southern girl, she loved them! She usually eats grits with cheesy scrambled eggs.

Already raiding Mama's wallet.

Sometimes lunch is so messy that we don't even make it upstairs to the tub. (I actually did this because we were in a hurry to get out of the house after lunch. She was very hesitant about taking a bath in the sink.)

My BFF from college and her two girls came all the way from Tulsa to visit us and to celebrate our 15th Friend-iversary. We hadn't seen each other in 4 years! We had so much fun and decided that we'd make this a yearly summer tradition, so next summer MC and I will head to Tulsa to visit them.

Having fun in the toddler area at the Children's Museum in Chapel Hill.

Besties, 15 years and counting!

All three girls making music at the Alamance County Children's Museum in Graham.

Block tower!

World's cutest giraffe! Trying on a hand-me-down Halloween costume.

She has started taking her first steps unassisted recently, so we're getting in the habit of putting shoes on her feet. We found these pink polka dot Mary Janes on the clearance rack, and she's obsessed with them. I generally only put shoes on her if we're going out of the house, but she finds these no matter where I've put them and brings them to me to put on her feet.
