Crappie. It's What's for Dinner.

When we were visiting Louisiana at Christmas, BD and his dad did several days of white perch (crappie) fishing. If you've never had white perch before, it is one of the cleanest tasting fresh water fish.

Luckily we drove the trip instead of flying, so we were able to travel back with an ice chest full of frozen fish goodness.



We defrosted a baggie of it last night and created ourselves a fried fish feast.



It was the inaugural use of the little Fry Daddy that BD got for Christmas. He used it out on the back deck so it did not stink up our house like fried food.


YUM.



Fried fish, baked hushpuppies, and cole slaw. More YUM.
