About once a month or so we hear reports of a truck stuck under a bridge in downtown Durham. It appears that someone has set up a camera in their office at Brightleaf Square to catch the mayhem. Luckily no one has been hurt, so it makes for some entertaining video.

This is so funny to me, because my mom had a store in Brightleaf Square years ago (like, in the late 80s and early 90s), and I know that exact bridge! Trucks used to get stuck under it all the time! How funny that it still happens.
That is nuts! Is that a bridge for a train? After being smacked so often I sure wouldn't want to be near it when a train goes over it! Ack!
HA! i can't believe how OFTEN it happens! and man, i hadn't thought of it, but artemisia's right... how is that bridge still structurally sound??
